Groupe Bel, Horizon Vendée Globe
Toujours avides de traversées et d'aventures, Kito de Pavant et le groupe Bel reprennent la mer pour une nouvelle saison qui les emmènera jusqu'à l'épreuve phare du circuit IMOCA : Le Vendée Globe. Après avoir franchi 3 caps et 3 océans lors de la Barcelona World Race, Kito de Pavant et sa vache hilare toucheront à nouveau l'eau salée cet été pour une série d'entraînements en Méditerrannée. A son bord, le skipper embarquera Yann Régniau, son nouveau co-skipper pour la Transat Jacques Vabre. Tous deux s'élanceront du Havre, le 30 octobre prochain, pour rallier Puerto Limon au Costa Rica (4730 milles). Marin expérimenté et dessinateur de voiles chez North Sails, Yann jouera la gagne aux côtés de Kito, ce dernier ayant terminé 2ème lors de la précédente édition. A coup sûr, du sourire à partager en perspective !
Groupe Bel, Vendée Globe on the Horizon
Always eager to cross the oceans and take on adventures, Kito de Pavant and Groupe Bel will return to the sea for a new season which will lead them to the main event of the IMOCA circuit: the Vendée Globe. After rounding 3 capes and entering 3 oceans during the Barcelona World Race, Kito de Pavant and his laughing cow will soon hit the sea again this summer for a series of training sessions in the Mediterranean. The skipper will be taking Yann Régniau on board with him, the new co-skipper for the Transat Jacques Vabre. They will both set off from Le Havre, on 30 October 2011, and their destination will be Puerto Limon in Costa Rica (4,730 miles) Experienced sailor and sail designer at North Sails, Yann will play to win by Kito's side, who finished 2nd in the previous race. One thing is for sure, there will be plenty of smiles to share on the horizon!
